Bloom is a Luna Light Journey produced by Laservision, created especially for Central Park, Joondalup. Following a sold-out debut season in 2025, Bloom returns for 2026 with an all-new immersive experience, Living Connections. Bloom is presented in partnership with the City of Joondalup, with 7 News Perth as platinum partner.

The entire experience is set along an interactive path through Central Park. Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear, and don’t forget a rain jacket or umbrella if it looks like you’ll need it.

Where possible, carpool with family and friends. Use the City of Joondalup’s interactive parking map to find parking nearby Central Park, or consider catching the train to Joondalup Station, right next to the park — plan your journey with the Transperth journey planner.

If you live close by, we encourage you to walk to avoid parking congestion. Limited accessible parking is available at the P8 Central Park West Parking Station, and on-street parking is available in surrounding streets — please be conscious of our neighbours, don’t park over driveways and take your rubbish with you.

The entry point to Bloom is on Grand Blvd, so please arrive 10 minutes before your entry time.

Bloom is conveniently located a short walk from Joondalup train station. Plan your journey with the Transperth journey planner.

Being located in the heart of Joondalup, there are many wonderful restaurants, cafes, pubs and fast food outlets nearby to suit your mood. On select nights across the season there will also be a selection of the region’s finest food trucks located a short stroll from Bloom at 70 Boas Avenue, Joondalup — check our socials closer to the season for confirmed food truck dates.

Yes, the entire Bloom path is pram accessible.

Low sensory sessions feature smaller crowds and a lower-intensity light display, due to there being more ambient lighting earlier in the evening. Attendees can fully immerse themselves in the experience without feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. Low sensory sessions provide a safe and inclusive space for everyone to enjoy Bloom — don’t forget to bring along sunglasses, headphones or your favourite sensory toy if you think it would be beneficial.

Yes. Please be aware the show is set within Central Park, Joondalup — regarding transport, please utilise the accessible parking or public transport options available.

Bloom operates in the event of rain or wind, so check the weather forecast and dress appropriately — bring a rain jacket and/or umbrella if needed. Encouragingly, drizzle on any given night provides a unique experience, creating another surface for the lasers and lights to reflect off.

If the weather presents a risk to safety, for example a severe storm, we reserve the right to close Bloom to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors. The decision to cancel a show will be made by 6pm on the day. If we need to cancel a session, an email and/or SMS will be sent to all ticket holders, and a notification will be posted to our social channels. Guests can reschedule their visit by following the directions in the email supplied.

Our priority is minimising harm to the trees, plants and animals within Central Park, Joondalup. We use specially designed installation devices and methods that let the lights hang from the trees without harming them. We also encourage our community to stay on the guided pathways to minimise damage to the surrounding foliage.

Throughout the creation of this event, we’ve strived to minimise impacts to flora and fauna as much as possible. The event affects approximately four hours of darkness, still leaving night-time hours for nocturnal animals to forage. As the surrounding area is quite vast, there is space for nocturnal animals to continue to forage away from the lights and foot traffic of the event. Through planning, we’ve identified every possible way to minimise impacts on our nocturnal animals while still allowing the community to enjoy the park in a different way.
